This recipe is how to make Green Goddess Dressing with nothing you can't pronounce. To reduce calories in many salad dressings like Green Goddess or Ranch dressing, gently fold the spices or vegetables into plain yogurt. Plain yogurt has about 150 calories for a cup or yogurt versus about 90 calories in a tablespoon of mayo. Also try folding 1 cup of salsa into 2 cups of plain yogurt for a zippy salad dressing with no guilt. Ranch Dressing
1/4 cup green pepper, cut strips
1 tbls fresh parsley
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream or yogurt
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 clove minced garlic
1 tsp salt
Put the green pepper, parsley, green onion, garlic and salt in a food chopper or blender and grind fine. Fold chopped vegetables into sour cream and mayonnaise. Use with any green salad. Keep in a cover jar in refrigerator.
