The Process of Designing Your Website
Most people initially are not at all sure just how many pages the website for their business or organization will need. They just know they need a website that works.
During our consultation we will go over the goals to accomplish with your website, its purpose. Also by adding in your individual tastes, color and style preferences, possible layouts, logos and images available, we will see what is needed.
We will then be able to give you a proposal of the cost and time required to build the website for your business or project.
If you agree to the proposal, then we will take a payment of half the proposed cost to begin to develop your website and all the materials you provide such as brochures, business cards and images. If you already have your domain name but not your hosting account set up, then you will to set that up.
Once we have developed usually three different drafts, they will be loaded into a demo area for you to review. This where we both go over what your website could look like. You may decide you prefer the layout of concept A with the coloring of concept C.
When you have approved which basic concept, we will move forward with the development of the content of the website and research your industry area. We will incorporate the elements of navigation, links, banners, logos and content into the website and begin testing.
The website will be loaded again into a demo area where we both go over it in order to fine tune any needed adjustments and revisions. With your final approval, we will take the remaining payment and launch your new website online.
We will submit your new website to search engines and offer to continue to maintain, update and promote your website for a modest amount.
