Cheese Ball Recipe

This recipe for Cheese Ball is always an easy fix when you have to bring something for a potluck at the office or Holiday party. This Cheese Ball recipe is made ahead of time to blend the flavors and firm up. You will get lots of compliments on how good this Cheese Ball is.

16 oz blue cheese dressing
8 oz cream cheese
1 lb grated cheddar cheese or cheddar/jack mix
½ cup chopped walnuts

Cut cream cheese into ½ cubes and let soften in mixing bowl at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Add blue cheese dressing and slowly blend with mixer. Gradually add grated cheddar until well blended. Spoon onto two serving plates in a high mound and smooth with a spatula.

Cover with finely chopped nuts. (I like to put the nuts in a Ziploc bag and roll a rolling pin over it a few times.) Refrigerate overnight to firm it up. Surround with crackers to serve.
